The CCMS team is excited to begin the new school year! The middle school years are a great time of self-discovery, increased academic rigor, and personal challenges. Every student needs a school and home support system to navigate these important developmental years. Please be an active participant in your child's education by:
2017-2018 school year at Churchill County Middle School (CCMS)!
- Attending conferences
- Accessing and checking grades
- Communicating by phone or email - please update any student information in Infinite Campus
- Assisting with homework
- Getting kids to school regularly and on time.
CCMS will continue to increase the productivity of classroom community through the implementation of common social expectations based on the Tribes Model. The principals of Attentive Listening, Mutual Respect, Showing Appreciation, and No Put Downs will guide classroom rules and expectations. Kindness matters! We will also increase collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking with one-to-one Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education.
I have an open door philosophy and welcome families to come in and participate in their children's educational experiences. Together we can make great strides in academic and social achievement in preparation for high school, college, and careers! Go Greenwave!
