Overview of Numa Elementary
 SchoolCenter PictureThe Nevada State Assessment scores indicate that the students at Numa greatly improved during the past school year.  The third grade students' scores showed the third greatest amount of growth, while other grades also improved.  The staff will continue to work hard to help the entire student body improve. Student achievement will be the main focus in the building, with emphasis in writing, language arts, and math.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to be actively involved in their children's education.  The PTO program exists to promote learning and support for the children.  The PTO president is Kris Renfroe.  She and her cabinet will work hard to keep the parents active in the school program. Please contact her if you would like to help with the PTO program. 

Please feel free to come into the school so we can become acquainted.  Parents, you can really can help start their school year off right by being positive about school, friends, schoolwork, etc.  When parents are being positive about school, the children will most likely follow suit.
