Churchill County School District Vision or Mission Statement 

The Churchill County Board of School Trustees is dedicated to keeping the District vision and mission alive. It is the basis for everything they do. They are committed to find more and better ways to serve students of Churchill County.

Mission: Everyone always learning! 

Vision: We will provide all students access to best educational services. Effective teaching and learning requires cooperation and teamwork amongst parents, school district employees, and students to achieve maximum potential. Learning occurs at different speeds and can be measured in various ways. Safety, character, achievement, and potential are important factors to consider when designing and delivering instruction. 

2012-2013 Churchill County District Goals

PRIORITY NEEDS (GOALS):Based on the review and analysis of the school district’s data (including the NCCAT-D for Districts INOI Year 3 and beyond), identify at least 1 and no more than 3 priorities (goals) for improvement that are linked to the categories of Curriculum & Instruction, Assessment & Accountability, and/or Leadership.

PRIORITY NEED/GOAL 1  (Curriculum & Instruction)
Increase academic rigor for all CCSD students to empower them to be college and career ready.

PRIORITY NEED/GOAL 2  (Assessment and Accountability)
Use district assessment and accountability systems to support all students’ achievement. 

PRIORITY NEED/GOAL 3  (Leadership)
CCSD leadership will work cohesively and collaboratively to ensure advancement of student achievement.
